Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has revealed that forward, Eden Hazard has refused to talk about his future at the club with him ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Saturday.
Hazard, who has less than two years remaining on his Chelsea’s contract, has been frequently linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge to join Real Madrid this summer.
Sarri, however, said after speaking with Hazard, the Belgium star gave him no indication that he wants to make the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu at this stage of his career.
“I have spoken to Eden very often in the last 10 days but he has never said to me anything about his future with Chelsea,” Sportmole quoted Sarri as saying at Friday’s pre-match conference.
“I am sure Eden will be with us for this season,” he said.
Hazard is expected to be included in Sarri’s squad when they battle the Emirates club this weekend at home.
Chelsea head to the head following their 3-0 victory against Huddersfield Town last week, while Arsenal were defeated 2-0 by Manchester City.
