The violence in Ekiti keeps growing ahead of the July 14 gubernatorial election in the state.
Yesterday night, the family house of governor Ayo Fayose’s Chief of Staff, Dipo Anisulowo was set ablaze by some hoodlums.According to reports, the thugs were said to have attempted to burn the new Oja Obamarket that is under construction but presence of security men prevented them.
They set the Chief of Staff’s family house on fire when they saw the family name written on it.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate, Kazeem Deji Ogunsakin and Chairman of Ado LG, Clement Bamisile was there today, to commiserate with occupants of the house.
This is coming after two supporters of Peoples Democratic Party, Adeleye Gbenga and Dimeji Adeleye were attacked and seriously injured by some unknown thugs in Aramoko Ekiti two days ago. The thugs also damaged their campaign vehicle.
